Eurovent publishes air filter EPD guide
31st March 2026
BELGIUM: Eurovent has released its latest environmental product declaration (EPD) guide, providing practical guidance on assessing and communicating the environmental performance of air filtration products.
The guide is designed to establish a consistent approach for developing EPDs for air filters, supporting improved transparency and comparability across the HVAC industry.
Eurovent says it addresses the growing demand for reliable environmental data and helps stakeholders better understand the lifecycle impacts of filtration solutions.
As sustainability requirements continue to increase across the HVAC sector, the need for reliable and comparable environmental data has become essential. Air filters play a dual role in ensuring high indoor air quality while influencing the energy consumption of ventilation systems.
The new guide provides clear recommendations on how to develop and interpret EPDs specifically for air filters.
The document can be downloaded free of charge on the Eurovent website.
