Fujitsu builds new r&d centre

THAILAND: Japanese manufacturer Fujitsu is to step up the development of commercial air conditioners by constructing a new r&d centre at its development subsidiary Fujitsu General Engineering (Thailand) in Chonburi.
The total investment is expected to be around JPY2bn (€15m). Construction on the three-storey building started at the end of August and is due for completion next May. In all, it will provide 10,235m² of floor space for more than 200 staff.
Fujitsu General Engineering was established in 1999 in the premises of Fujitsu’s manufacturing subsidiary Fujitsu General (Thailand) Co Ltd.
