Güntner appoints Yan Evans as head of data centre business

GERMANY: Heat exchanger product manufacturer, Güntner Group, has appointed Yan Evans as managing director of its global data centre business.  

Evans joins Güntner from the Fläkt Group, where he built and led Fläkt’s global data centre operations over the last eight years, latterly as director of data centre global accounts. In a varied career spanning nearly 40 years, he has held a number of roles spanning business development and sales and marketing

In his new role, Evans will lead the data centre activities working across the Güntner and Jaeggi brands. Working closely with regional leadership, he will support the continued expansion of the business in key global markets and  deepen partnerships with data center operators and hyperscalers globally, as demand for digital infrastructure continues to accelerate. 

With data centres becoming a key and rapidly growing focus for the Güntner Group, Michael Bauer, head of global sales, said: “Yan brings deep sector expertise and a proven track record in this high-growth sector.
