Hauser opens new €3m test lab

AUSTRIA: Refrigerated cabinet manufacturer Hauser has completed a €3m redevelopment of its test centre at its plant in St Martin im Mühlkreis.
The new Hauser Tech-Center includes a modern office wing and an extended test laboratory with a total area of 2,000m². In addition, new social, washing facilities and changing rooms have been created on around 400m². At the centre of the Tech-Center is an area dedicated to customer presentations as well as the cafe as a meeting place for employees and customers.
The Tech-Center also includes test benches for refrigerated cabinets, an acoustic and technical room as well as assembly boxes for mechanical setups and inspections. The refrigeration systems have been designed so that they can also be used to cool the air conditioning rooms and to heat the new office space.
“With this investment, we have certainly built one of the best refrigeration equipment laboratories in Europe,” said Hauser CEO Thomas Loibl. “I am convinced that this will strengthen and secure our competitiveness and market position.”
