Hoshizaki to expand Griffin plant

Hoshizaki-GriffinUSA: Hoshizaki America is to expand its refrigeration product manufacturing plant and main distribution centre in Griffin, Georgia.

Originally opened in 2001, the Griffin plant is the original site which launched the line of Hoshizaki food service equipment in the USA.

“Due to tremendous growth we’ve experienced in recent years, we have outgrown our current facility,” explained Rick Bassan, director of plant operations at Griffin. “Our warehouse will expand to an additional nine shipping docks and the factory will increase significantly – allowing production levels to increase over 250%.”

With corporate headquarters in Peachtree City, Georgia and a second manufacturing facility in Griffin, Georgia, Hoshizaki employees around 500 people in the Atlanta area.
