ICS and MTA combine operations in Germany

GERMANY: The German subsidiary of Italian chiller manufacturer MTA and the German branch of chiller hire company ICS Cool Energy are combining under the name MTA Deutschland GmbH.

Both companies are members of the Trane Technologies group of companies. MTA was acquired by Trane Technologies in 2023. UK-based ICS Cool Energy was acquired by Trane’s former owner Ingersoll Rand in 2018.

The MTA and ICS brands will remain separate. ICS boasts one of the largest fleets of rental cooling and heating equipment in Germany.

“Following the merger of MTA with Rehsler Kühlsysteme last year, we are now combining the teams, expertise and market strengths in the field of rental cooling to provide our customers with even more comprehensive support,” explained MTA Deutschland MD Carola Wolters.
