Illegal refrigerants are webinar topic

BELGIUM: The illegal imports of HFC refrigerants are to be the subject of a webinar by refrigerant supplier Honeywell.
Accepting that illegal imports are a major problem in the EU, Honeywell maintains that the activity is “seriously undermining” the intent of the F-gas regulations.
The webinar on March 19 will examine the regulatory, financial and safety impact of these illegal activities and discuss what is being done to control the imports. It will also examine what action individuals and companies can take to support the efforts of the national authorities and industry associations.
The speakers are Honeywell experts Lee Hermitage, EMEA marketing director for fluorine products, and Tim Vink, director of regulatory affairs.
