IoR to host Gustav Lorentzen conference
UK: The largest international refrigeration conference on natural refrigerants returns to the UK in 2016.
The UK’s Institute of Refrigeration will be hosting the 12th Gustav Lorentzen Natural Working Fluid Conference in Edinburgh in August 2016, coinciding with the world famous Edinburgh Arts Festival.
The 12th Gustav Lorentzen conference will address fundamental issues surrounding the vision for the future of natural working fluids for 2016 and beyond, along with showcasing the latest developments in the application of natural working fluids.
The programme will encourage delegates to think about how natural refrigerants are used and consider such topics as total cost of system ownership, impact of indirect emissions, safety and reliability. It will also look at component development and availability and compare the most efficient solutions.
Technical tours will be a strong feature of the event with certain papers presented at the tour sites to explore underlying technical issues.
The conference will take place from August 21-24 at Heriot Watt University.
Details about the event and the call for abstracts will be announced at the conference website www.gl2016.com.
