IRI adds support for World Refrigeration Day

UK: The Institute of Refrigeration Ireland (IRI) has become the latest body to support World Refrigeration Day on June 26.

Welcoming the initiative, IRI president Seamus Kerr said: “Refrigeration and air conditioning play a vital and often unacknowledged role in the wellbeing and health of society. In these days of new technology and with increasing efforts to reduce the environmental impact of refrigeration and air conditioning it is good to celebrate and encourage the efforts of the many involved in this sector.” 

World Refrigeration Day founder Steve Gill said: “This is great news. The Institute of Refrigeration Ireland are a very active group with a knowledgeable and active membership.”
