ISH launch for R32 vac pump

GERMANY: Tool manufacturer Rothenberger is to launch an R32 vacuum pump at the ISH exhibition which opens tomorrow in Frankfurt.
The ROAIRVAC R32 is a two-stage rotary vane vacuum pump, specifically designed for use with the “mildly flammable” R32 refrigerant which seems likely to become the standard gas in small residential air conditioners. Daikin has already launched air conditioners using the low GWP replacement for R410A in Europe and others seem likely to follow.
Manufactured in accordance with DIN 8975, the ROAIRVAC R32 has been available in Australia since last year and features a brushless motor and enclosed components.
With a pump rating of 170l/m, it weighs 16.6kg.
ISH opens tomorrow and runs until Saturday.
