Italian trainer completes R290 ac course in China

ITALY/CHINA: Italian refrigeration and air conditioning training institute Centro Studi Galileo has completed a course on using propane in split system air conditioners at the Yantai Vocational College in Shandong, China.
The course was attended by 24 Chinese trainers and engineers with the aim of improving and enhancing environmental awareness during installation and maintenance and minimising refrigerant emissions.
The training week coincided with the announcement of a commitment by major Chinese room air conditioner (RAC) manufacturers, including Gree, Midea, and Haier to sell 220,000 propane split-type RAC units in the domestic Chinese market by the middle of this year.
