Jeff Williams named Johnson Controls VP and president

IRELAND: Johnson Controls International has named Jeff Williams as vice president and president, Global Products, Building Technologies & Solutions.
Williams succeeds Bill Jackson who is leaving the company on August 9, to pursue other opportunities.
Jeff Williams recently served as vice president, Building Solutions, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Latin America (EMEALA) for Johnson Controls where he is said to have led sustained growth and improved margins across the region.
In his new role Williams will lead the Global Products segment, which reported revenues of $8.5bn in 2018. Global Products includes building management systems, HVAC and refrigeration equipment and specialty products.
Williams joined Johnson Controls in 1984, and previously served as vice president of enterprise operations and engineering. Prior to that, he was group vice president and general manager, Product Group Complete Seat and Supply Chain, Automotive Experience.
Bill Jackson became president of Building Efficiency in 2014, taking over from Dave Myers.
