SWEDEN: Roland Kasper has been appointed md and ceo of Systemair in succession to founder Gerald Engström who becomes chairman.

Roland Kasper is 45 years old and started at Systemair in 2007. He has been marketing director and a member of the Group’s board of management since 2011 and is also a board member of many of Systemair’s subsidiaries.

Kasper has previously worked as product manager at Fläkt Woods and ABB Ventilation Products, as well as sales manager for air-terminal units and cooling baffles at ABB Ventilation Products AB.

Gerald Engström, who founded the company in 1974, said: “I and the rest of the board are convinced that Roland is the right person to take over the responsibility as managing director for Systemair. For my part, I intend to continue to be operational within acquisitions and investor relations.”
