17th October 2026
USA: German heat exchanger product manufacturer Kelvion reports that it has secured a data centre cooling order valued at over $800m – its largest US contract to date.
The project includes the supply throughout 2027 of over 1,000 Mega-Bay dry cooler units, providing 5GW of heat rejection capacity for high-density AI computing environments.
The Mega-Bay is a pre-engineered, modular solution. Factory-site assembled, it features three fans up to 14ft in diameter, providing a cooling capacity of 1.5MW to 4MW per module.
Additional orders in 2026 include Mega-Bay systems, custom-engineered dry coolers, and critical heat rejection infrastructure.
