Kigali ratifiers climbs to 58

ECUADOR: The number of countries to have signed the Kigali Amendment to phase down HFC refrigerants has risen to 58.

The latest additions – Sri Lanka, Panama, Greece, Guinea-Bissau and Kiribati – are announced as the parties to the Montreal Protocol prepare to meet for MOP30 in Quito, Ecuador, next week.

The agreement from Greece brings the number of EU member states to have ratified to 19.
