Madagascar ratifies Kigali Amendment

MADAGASCAR: The island Republic of Madagascar is the latest country to ratify the Kigali Amendment to phase down HFCs.

By ratifying the Kigali Amendment, Madagascar pledges to cut the production and consumption of HFCs by more than 80% by 2045.

The countries to have announced ratification, acceptance or approval to the Kigali Amendment in date order are:
