McQuade joins AHRI

USA: Bill McQuade, Johnson Controls executive director of global industry relations and regulatory policy, has joined the AHRI as vice president, sector services.
As well as leading the applied sector, McQuade will also supervise the unitary, refrigeration and heating sectors. He will report to AHRI COO John Lanier.
McQuade has been very active within AHRI, having served on the board of directors, as chairman of the government affairs committee, a member of the international committee and the certification programs and policy committee, as a chairman and member of the liquid chillers product section, and as a member of the variable frequency drives section, among other entities.
He joined Johnson Controls, then York International, in 1993 and subsequently held numerous director roles.
