Michael Bauer is new Trox chairman

GERMANY: Former Bitzer sales and marketing man Michael Bauer has taken over as chairman of the board of Trox GmbH.

He succeeds Lutz Reuter who left the company for family reasons at the end of August.

 In his new role, Michael Bauer will be responsible for sales, production, marketing and construction/safety.

 He began his professional career in 1988 as sales manager at the US subsidiary of German fan manufacturer Rosenberg. He subsequently spent eight years with another fan manufacturer Ebm-Papst, progressing to sales director Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa. In 2011 he joined Bitzer and before leaving at the end of 2013 was chief sales and marketing officer at Bitzer SE.
