Mitsubishi builds new JPY5bn r&d centre

Mitusbishi-randd-ShuzokaJAPAN: Mitsubishi Electric has commenced construction of a new JPY5bn (€37m) air conditioning r&d centre adjacent to its main works in Shizuoka.

Scheduled to open in June 2019, the new four-storey, 23,000m² building will carry out testing, design and prototyping in support of product development for global markets.
