Mitsubishi completes DeLclima purchase

Climaveneta-focs-60JAPAN: Mitsubishi Electric has acquired all the remaining shares in chiller manufacturer DeLclima.

After announcing its intention to buy the Italian manufacturer last August, Mitsubishi achieved a majority interest at the end of December. Its subsequent mandatory tender offer has now resulted in the acquisition of the remaining 25.03% of the share capital of DeLclima.

The overall purchase price for 100% of DeLclima’s shares amounted to approximately €677m.

DeLclima designs, manufactures and sells commercial HVAC equipment and cooling equipment for industrial and IT use. DeLclima’s subsidiaries include chiller manufacturer Climaveneta and specialist air conditioning and cooling brand RC Group.
