Munters to acquire Reventa
24th November 2015SWEDEN: Air treatment company Munters is to acquire Reventa, a German company specialising in climate control systems for livestock buildings.
Reventa, headquartered in Horstmar, was founded 1982 and produces a complete system of filters, distribution, heating/cooling, draining and air cleaning. Reventa serves customers both in Germany and internationally.
The agreement is seen as combining the strength of Munters and Reventa by reinforcing Munters’ position within the pig farming sector and the markets in Northern and Eastern Europe.
“Reventa’s management team has done a great job of building a solid and successful operation that provides quality products for the poultry and pig market,” said Peter Gisel-Ekdahl, president Munters business area AgHort. “Munters will be able to expand its successful product portfolio to include Reventa’s products and solution, while Reventa’s customers will benefit from Munters’ global offering,” Gisel-Ekdahl added.
