Natural refrigerant focus at IIR conference

CHINA: Natural refrigerants will again be the centre of attention this month when the IIR’s 11th Gustav Lorentzen conference opens in Hangzhou, China.

The IIR’s Gustav Lorentzen conferences are acclaimed as the venue for world leaders to meet and discuss the latest research results and advances related to the use of natural refrigerants in different types of systems and application areas.

This year’s plenary topics will include discussions on current and future refrigerants, analysis of recent ammonia incidents in China, safety considerations for natural refrigerants and progress in international standards.

Amongst a host of presentations, Stefano Filippini, r&d manager of refrigeration product manufacturer and CO2 pioneer Lu-Ve, will talk provide a talk entitled New Developments in Air-Cooled Finned Heat Exchangers for CO2 Applications.

The 11th Gustav Lorentzen Conference will take place at the Shangri-La Hotel, Hangzhou, China from August 31 to September 2.
