“Naturals” workshop moves to Vermont

USA: The North American Sustainable Refrigeration Council (NASRC) is to run another one-day workshop focussing on the natural refrigerant options for grocery stores.

Building on the success of a similar event in Boise, Idaho, in July, the NASRC is to hold a similar workshop in Burlington, Vermont, on October 3.

Organised in association with Efficiency Vermont, the free workshop will map refrigerant choices in new and existing stores and what the future holds for each option.

Experts will explore government policies and regulations, training, energy use and other operating costs, new technologies, codes and standards, population trends and the shifting function of stores.

The workshop is ideal for service contractors, food retailers from large chains to small independents and convenience stores, and other commercial refrigeration stakeholders.

Light refreshments and lunch will be provided. A networking social will follow the workshop. Registration is required, and space is limited.
