New Carrier distribution centre in Nashville

_Carrier-Nashville-2USA: Construction has begun on a new 50,000ft² regional distribution centre for Carrier in Nashville, Tennessee.

The new building adjacent to Nashville International Airport is said to be scheduled for completion in the spring. The new building is thought to include a 4,000ft showroom and training centre.

The company behind the deal, Chicago-based HSA Commercial Real Estate previously completed a separate 71,250ft² lease transaction with Carrier in 2010 at the firm’s 495,000ft² Baton Rouge West industrial development in Port Allen, Louisiana.

“Carrier has been a great tenant of ours in Baton Rouge, and we are pleased to have the opportunity to work with them again on this build-to-suit project,” said Craig Phillips, HSA’s executive vice president of development.
