Nualight acquired by US firm Fulham

IRELAND/USA: Cork-based specialist LED lighting company Nualight has been acquired by US lighting business Fulham Co Inc. 

Founded in 2005, Nualight has specialised predominately in supplying refrigeration lighting into the world’s leading grocery retailers, refrigeration display case manufacturers, specialist refrigeration wholesalers and distributors.

In a statement, Fulham said: “This partnership expands our global reach and combines the strengths of both companies — accelerating innovation, enhancing customer solutions, and extending our footprint across North America, Europe and Asia.”

Based in Hawthorne, California, Fulham is a leading global manufacturer of LED modules and drivers, LED emergency lighting systems, electronic fluorescent ballasts and lamps, etc.” 

Fulham has sales and service facilities in North America, the Middle East, Europe, Asia, India, and Latin America. 

The two companies have previous history. In 2016, Fulham acquired certain assets of Nualight’s LED driver and motion detector business.
