Obituary – Don Foster

USA: Don Foster, a former president of US air conditioning manufacturer Rheem, died peacefully at his home in Fort Smith, Arkansas, last Wednesday. He was 82.
A graduate of St Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa, he joined Rheem Manufacturing Company in 1957 in research and development, moving into sales and then management positions, retiring as president in 1991.
He served as a director on boards of a number of industry and trade organisations, including the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute.
