Oleas confirmed as GEA CEO until 2020

Oleas-GEA — Jürg Oleas: confirmed as GEA CEO for a further three years

GERMANY: Jürg Oleas has been confirmed as the CEO of the GEA Group for a further three years, until the end of 2019.

In addition, he will assume the role of labour relations director, following the resignation of fellow executive board member Dr Stephan Petri.

A Swiss national, born in Ecuador, Jürg Oleas has been a member of GEA’s executive board since 2001, and was appointed CEO in 2004.

Prior to joining the Group, he spent almost 20 years with ABB and Alstom Group, where he held several management positions.
