Peru ratifies Kigali Amendment

PERU: The Republic of Peru has joined one of its South American neighbours, Chile, to become the 79th country to ratify the Kigali Amendment to phase down HFCs.
Under the Kigali Amendment, adopted by 197 countries in 2016, countries committed to cut the production and consumption of HFCs by more than 80% over the next 30 years.
