RDM and Parker partner on stepper valve

Intuitive-Mercury-Stepper-Package_For-DigitalUK: Controls manufacturer RDM has entered into a partnership with US company Parker Hannifin to produce a flexible stepper-valve control for the retail sector.

The new RDM Intuitive Stepper Valve Pack combines the new RDM mains Intuitive Mercury Stepper controller and temperature probes with Parker’s SER AA to D range of stepper valves. With internal or remote display options the Intuitive Mercury Stepper controller is based on the existing low voltage Intuitive Mercury Stepper platform with the same advanced features and functionality with the addition of being mains powered and suitable for use worldwide.

Experiencing rapid growth globally RDM says it recognised that to offer the best solution to its customers, a strategic partnership with a company such as Parker was the best approach.

“Parker delivers the best valves in the world and was the obvious choice when we were looking for a partner to deliver a turnkey stepper valve control solution,” commented RDM managing director Andrew Chandler. “RDM products are transforming the way people work not just in the UK but worldwide, we wanted the RDM team to stay focused on enhancing our already powerful range, and creating exciting new products.”

The move is designed to redefine stepper control by y combining Parker Hannifin’s expertise as a world leader in motion and flow control technologies with RDM’s control and remote monitoring knowledge.
