Refrigerant app passes 100,000 downloads

check-charge-appUSA: Emerson’s HVAC refrigerant charge calculator for air conditioning applications has passed the 100,000 download milestone.

Released in late 2012, the free HVAC Check & Charge is Emerson Climate Technologies’ most popular app and has been recognised as one of the top 10 apps for skilled trades by IT Business Canada.

“The app was designed to allow contractors to perform their jobs quicker,” said Karl Zellmer, vice president of sales, Emerson Climate Technologies Inc, Air Conditioning business. “It’s a great tool for busy contractors, and it’s a good replacement for the old sliding charge calculators, so to see that it has reached 100,000 downloads shows us that it’s doing everything that we hoped it would.”

The HVAC Check & Charge app provides an on-site refrigerant charge calculator for air conditioning applications. The app allows contractors to easily calculate correct system refrigerant charge for R22 or R410A.
