“Rethink energy” is heat pump theme

IEA-Heat-pump-confSWEDEN: Rethink Energy, Act Now will be the theme of the 12th IEA Heat Pump Conference to be held from May 15-18, 2017, at the World Trade Centre in Rotterdam.

The goal of the conference is to promote heat pumping technologies through discussions, networking, and information exchange.

Covering covering topics in heat pumps, air conditioning and refrigeration is for residential, commercial and industrial applications, the conference will begin with a series of workshops on May 15 followed by an evening welcoming reception.

The conference promises high-level keynote speakers, a poster presentation of papers after each session, equipment exhibits and information kiosks, as well as technical visits and a programme of social and sight-seeing events. There will also be workshops on international collaborative projects.

Sessions will cover advances in equipment design and development; advanced electrically and thermally operated systems, and ground source systems; applications demonstrating energy efficiency and environmental advantages; new developments in heat pumping technology; policy, standards, market strategies, market status, trends and future opportunities.
