Sanhua and Haier sign co-operation deal
8th November 2025
CHINA: Controls company Sanhua has signed a strategic co-operation agreement with appliance manufacturer Haier, extending a partnership which has existed between the two companies for nearly 40 years.
The companies say that the agreement will usher in a new phase of comprehensive strategic collaboration, deepening cooperation in areas such as technological innovation, global supply chain synergy, and emerging market development, jointly promoting a green, intelligent, and low-carbon lifestyle.
The association between the two companies began in 1987 when Haier Refrigerator Factory successfully carried out tests on a two-position and three-way solenoid valve developed by Sanhua and Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
Since then, Sanhua and Haier have gradually developed co-operation in the fields of refrigerators and air conditioners. Sanhua has supplied Haier with a variety of energy-saving control components, including refrigerator solenoid valves, four-way valves for air conditioners, and electronic expansion valves.
They claim that the new agreement is not only a continuation of “long-standing trust and deep collaboration” but also a new starting point for jointly shaping the future and winning in global markets.
Under the new agreement, the two companies will focus on collaborations in R&D, the establishment of joint laboratories and the exploration of emerging technological fields. Additionally, both parties will actively expand co-operation in overseas markets.
Together with Haier Smart Home, Sanhua will explore new directions in green and intelligent technologies and jointly promote the sustainable development of the global home appliance industry.
