Sauermann/Gel-clear in bio tie-up

BELGIUM/UK: Condensate pump manufacturer Sauermann has partnered with UK company Gel-clear to offer improved bio-film protection on its Si-93 pump.

The Si-93 is a compact, ultra-flat pump specially designed to handle the condensates from supermarket refrigerated display cabinets.

Biofilm is a well-known problem in supermarket refrigerated-display cabinets. Naturally forming, it is often the cause of costly leaks.

Gel-clear tablets prevent the formation of bio-film and are a simple, low cost solution to blocked condensate drains. Its use in combination with Sauermann’s Si-93 membrane pump is said to provide a winning solution for store owners.

In a joint statement Serge Bohyn, CEO of Sauermann, and Paurick Gaughan, MD of Gel-clear, said: “Sauermann Group and Gel-clear are both very excited to offer patented technologies and a solid solution to our supermarket, agri-foods, commercial and refrigeration sector customers.”
