Sharp to executive president

USA: Robert T (Bob) Sharp has been appointed executive president of Emerson Commercial & Residential Solutions.

He was appointed vice president of the newly formed Commercial & Residential Solutions business in February. Sharp joined Emerson in 1996 and has served in a variety of corporate and business unit roles, most recently as business leader of Emerson Climate Technologies.

He now reports directly to chairman and CEO David N Farr.
