South Africa ratifies Kigali Amendment

SOUTH AFRICA: Ratification of the Kigali Amendment to the Montreal Protocol has provided a significant boost to South Africa’s environmental efforts.

South Africa’s ratification lifts the number of countries who have backed efforts to cut the production and consumption of HFCs to 77. 

The countries to have ratified the Kigali Amendment in date order is:
