Tecumseh opens office in Morocco

The new office will be headed by Elmouez Ben Romdhane, Africa and Turkey commercial director

MOROCCO: Refrigeration compressor and condensing unit manufacturer Tecumseh has opened an office in Morocco to support its expansion plans in Africa.

While the US manufacturer has been active in Africa for several years, the new office in Casablanca cements its presence in the region.

“Convinced of the strong development potential of the African commercial refrigeration market, we wanted to be closer to our distributors and installers,” said Tecumseh Europe MD François Bouillot.

This first location in Morocco is said to be the beginning of Tecumseh’s expansion plan in Africa. According to Stéphane Charbonnier, Tecumseh’s Europe and Africa sales director, the new office has the objective of “positioning the company as the commercial refrigeration leader in the region by building relationships with key partners”.

Attached to the European subsidiary of Tecumseh, the office will be headed by Elmouez Ben Romdhane, Africa and Turkey commercial director.
