Tefcold expands interests in Spain

SPAIN: Tefcold, the Danish commercial refrigeration equipment wholesaler, has acquired the HoReCa-related assets of Spanish company Clima Hosteleria.

Founded in 2011 and based in Badajoz in southwest Spain, Clima Hosteleria is a supplier of commercial refrigeration and a broad range of hospitality equipment in Spain and Portugal.

Tefcold sees the acquisition significantly strengthening its position on the Iberian peninsula. It follows the 2024 purchase of Barcelona-based Horeca Global Solutions, a distributor of refrigeration, cooking and ice cream making equipment for the hospitality sector in Spain and Portugal.
