Toshiba Carrier to manufacture in India

INDIA: Toshiba Carrier is to commence production of VRF air conditioning units in India.

According to the Asian Nikkei Review, Toshiba Carrier will install production lines at an existing Carrier factory, with production to begin next spring.

An investment of JPY500m has been reported with an annual production capacity of 10,000 units expected.
