Turbocor is magnetic attraction

USA:  Danfoss recently hosted a delegation of 20 EU ambassadors at its Turbocor compressor facility in Tallahassee, Florida.

The visit was led by Jesper Moller Sorensen, the Danish ambassador to the US. Denmark currently holds the presidency of the EU27. It offered the ambassadors an inside look at how Danish company Danfoss is supporting US growth – particularly in the data centre sector, where demand for high-efficiency cooling is surging.

While in Tallahassee, the ambassadors toured the 145,000ft2 manufacturing facility and advanced Application Development Centre.

“Data centres are one of the fastest-growing markets for Turbocor in the US,” said Danfoss Turbocor vice president Rogerio Federici. “Our oil-free, magnetic-bearing compressor technology helps data centres meet uptime requirements while significantly reducing energy consumption, cost, strains on the power grid and greenhouse gas emissions.”

“Danfoss’ work is a prime example of how the collaboration across the Atlantic and our companies creates jobs and economic growth in local communities,” Sorensen commented.
