US ac shipments down

20881868_sUSA: Shipments of central air conditioners and air-source heat pumps totalled 878,513 units in June – 8.2% down on June 2014, according to latest statistics from the AHRI.

Air conditioner shipments decreased 9.1% to 611,900 units, while shipments of air-source heat pumps decreased 6.1% to 266,613 units.

Year-to-date combined shipments of central air conditioners and air-source heat pumps increased 2.3% to 3,920,466 units.
