US shipments up 8.7% in July
17th September 2016USA: July saw US shipments of central air conditioners increase 8.7% on last year to 551,121 units.
US shipments of air-source heat pumps increased 6.6% to 234,134 units, up from 219,693 units shipped in July 2015.
The latest figures from the AHRI record year-to-date shipments of central air conditioners up 4.4% to 3,232,815 units, while heat pump shipments are down 0.7% on the year to 1,541,905 units.
