Venezuela latest to ratify Kigali

VENEZUELA: The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela has become the latest country to ratify the Kigali Amendment to phase down HFC refrigerants.

Venezuela’s ratification follows that of St Vincent and the Grenadines last month and brings the total number of companies to officially agree to cut the production and consumption of HFCs by more than 80% over the next 30 years to 145.

The countries to have announced ratification, accession, acceptance, approval or succession to the Kigali Amendment in date order are:
