Verkempynck becomes LG sales VP

FRANCE: Peter Verkempynck, former md of Daikin UK, has joined LG Electronics as HVACR sales vice president Europe.

Verkempynck spent 30 years at Daikin in Europe, initially in as assistant director. He became md of  Daikin UK in 2007, spending seven years at the UK subsidiary’s head office in Weybridge, the last four as md.

He moved back to Belgium in 2014 to become general manager of Daikin Europe’s heating strategic business unit.
