Botswana latest to ratify Kigali

BOTSWANA: The Republic of Botswana has joined neighbours South Africa and Namibia by ratifying the Kigali Amendment. This latest ratification brings the total to 104.
Under the Kigali Amendment to the Montreal Protocol, countries commit to cut the production and consumption of HFCs by more than 80% over the next 30 years.
