Carel adds blast chiller controller

ITALY: Carel has expanded its iJ controls platform with iJP, a new controller designed for blast chilling and blast freezing applications.
For OEMs, iJP is said to offer a modular and flexible solution, available in small, large and XL display sizes, as well as panel, split and HMI configurations, making integration across different unit architectures straightforward.
Ease of use is said to have been a priority, with the iJP’s clear interface, offering intuitive cycle selection and immediate access to information.
One of the solution’s distinguishing features is its integration with Carel’s mobile app Controlla. Using Bluetooth, users can view the unit status, start and manage cycles, configure presets, and access or download HACCP reports directly from a mobile device.
To support installation and service activities, configuration through the Applica app speeds up commissioning, parameter setting and maintenance operations, while integration with RED Control enables remote monitoring of the unit, providing easy access to operating information from anywhere.
