Daikin adds 3,000ton centrifugal chiller

USA: Daikin Applied Americas has added a 3,000ton magnetic bearing chiller to its Magnitude centrifugal chiller range.

The Magnitude WME-C Quad is said to be suitable for use with R513A or R515B refrigerant. It is based on a dual-circuit series counter-flow design with four compressors for exceptional redundancy. It offers a wide operating envelope with condenser leaving water temps up to 130°F (54ºC).

Peak full-load efficiency is 0.52kW/ton and IPLV is 0.30kW/ton.
