UK: Daikin Applied (UK) has unveiled the HTM-Pro T Series, a compact air handling unit designed to meet the stringent NHS HTM 03-01 ventilation guidelines for healthcare environments.
Built in Daikin’s factory in Cramlington, UK, the new unit offers airflow capacities from 0.85m³/s to 4.2m³/s and is said to deliver exceptional hygiene, energy efficiency and ease of maintenance. Tool-free, slide-out drain trays ensure straightforward hygiene maintenance
With dimensions starting at just 1100mm wide and 3840mm long, the HTM-Pro T Series is ideal for plantrooms where space and access are limited. Duct connections on the top and side pipework outlets allow installation directly against walls, making it ideal for refurbishment projects.
Units are supplied as a pre-assembled single-cabinet unit with factory-tested plug-and-play controls. Integrated internal LED lighting is included for safer inspections.
The counterflow heat exchanger is said to achieve up to 80% thermal energy recovery, while efficiency is further improved by the use of EC fans with IE5 motors.
Two-stage filtration is employed with ePM10 70% (M5) and F7 (ePM1 55%) filters. An innovative filter frame design facilitates filter changes without reaching into the unit.
