Emerson updates Copeland compressor app

USA: Emerson has updated its Copeland X-Ref compressor database app to include improved product information and barcode scanning.
The new version 4.0 of the app includes extended functionality for quick and convenient access to its database of air conditioning and refrigeration compressor product specifications.
In addition to an auto-fill function using the first three digits of a compressor model number, contractors can now use the label barcode scanning feature to quickly search Emerson’s online database for replacement product information. Once the correct compressor is identified, users can click on the several menu options to help filter and locate the desired product information.
The updated Copeland X-Ref mobile app works offline and includes capacitor specifications, and performance, mechanical and electrical information.
