Panasonic adds three-pipe VRF on R32

UK: Panasonic Heating & Cooling Solutions has expanded its VRF portfolio with the new three-pipe ECOi EX MF4 series, using R32 refrigerant.

As a three-pipe VRF, it is purpose built for commercial projects requiring simultaneous heating and cooling across diverse zone conditions.

This new system operates efficiently in temperatures ranging from -20 to 52℃. This compact 10hp unit achieves a seasonal space cooling efficiency (ηs,c) of 308.3% and seasonal space heating energy efficiency (ηs,h) of 171%.

The system supports a single outdoor unit up to 12hp, with the option to combine up to three units for a total capacity of 36hp. This multi-outdoor configuration connects to up to 52 indoor units.

The new series incorporates compliant safety measures for R32 refrigerant, including new leak detectors and alarms in line with EN 378 and IEC 60335240 standards. The system also offers a three-pipe heat recovery box available with or without a safety valve kit, enabling flexible installation depending on the required safety measures.
