Panasonic provides an edge in HVAC control

UK: Panasonic Heating & Cooling Solutions Europe has announced Commercial Smart Edge, described as a next generation tool for secure, unified and scalable HVAC management across commercial buildings.

Said to be designed for operators who require real‑time visibility, multi-site control and strong data governance, it enables the management of all Panasonic HVAC solutions from one platform.

Users can manage operations locally, maintain full ownership of their data and monitor unlimited sites, whether overseeing a single facility or a large multi-site estate.

The platform provides access to operational data, energy consumption and system performance, helping businesses optimise efficiency and reduce operating costs.

The platform is structured around two complementary pillars:
P-Smart Edge: A secure, local, non-cloud-based system for single site control, offering simplified commissioning, intuitive dashboards and on device data storage for enhanced security and continuity.
P-Smart Nexus: A centralised, multisite management solution enabling remote supervision of unlimited buildings without complex onsite configuration.
